This was my first piece I designed at Central Saint Martins (UAL). The purpose of this experience for me was to learn techniques that I could develop into my future experiments with fashion and not to create a functioning garment.

With this piece I learned draping, pleating and hand sewing. As I was focusing mostly on draping the fabric on a mannequin, this dress was held together by pins and was not a wearable piece. However, at the last minute, I was invited to show my garment at the fashion show held the next day. With an incredibly tight deadline, I finished my piece and made it ready for the last minute runway.
