This project aims to create an immersive experience, enhanced by the natural environment to highlight the great importance of bees as a keystone species. The design intends to celebrate the intricacies and mathematical significance of their naturally formed structures and simultaneously communicate the significant threat of Colony Collapse Disorder that bees face worldwide.

When viewed up close, this large scale installation has the intention to place the viewer into the perspective of the bee and acknowledge the beauty and intricacies of their natural designs. The size of this installation also directly represents the great significance and crucial impact relative to humans.

In contrast, when viewed from a distance, the size difference of each piece visually reveals the data collected from The Bee Informed Team and highlights the significant and continuous issue of Colony Collapse Disorder.
