This design aims to exhibit Jason and Medea's relationship by representing homogeneous principles derived from their contrasting upbringing. The recurring motifs of the desert and the sea are associated with Jason and Medea to symbolise their conflicting and constrasting life experiences.

My design concept attempts to unite these environments, representing the united relationship the characters once had. The natural ripple patterns observed in both these environments share similarities in their organic movement and are both created from the wind, another important motif within the play. The duplicated flow of lines not only reference the patterns seen in these landscapes, but are also intended to symbolise the repetition of mistakes the characters are trying to avoid that are ultimately inevitable.
